Welcome to Renewd. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Renewd, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Renewd is a personal renewal tracking application that helps you:

• Track insurance policies, subscriptions, government documents, utilities, and other renewals
• Scan documents using AI to extract renewal details
• Receive smart reminders before renewals expire
• Store and organize important documents securely
• Chat with an AI assistant about your renewals
• Analyze your renewal spending

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Renewd. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Renewd for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the service to store content unrelated to renewals and personal documents
• Abuse the AI features by sending excessive or automated requests

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Renewd (documents, renewal data, notes). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you share with the app.

6. AI Features

Renewd uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) for document scanning, data extraction, and chat assistance. Please note:

• AI-generated results may not always be accurate — always review extracted data before saving
• AI responses in chat are informational only and do not constitute financial, legal, or insurance advice
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated information

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Renewd currently offers all features for free. If we introduce paid subscriptions in the future:

• Payments will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription terms and pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase
• Refunds will be handled according to Apple's and Google's refund policies
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Renewd available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Impose usage limits to ensure fair use for all users

10. Limitation of Liability

Renewd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Missed renewals or expired documents — Renewd is a tracking tool, not a guarantee
• Inaccurate AI-extracted data from document scans
• Data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete Account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

12. Intellectual Property

Renewd, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Quartex. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Renewd after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
